Pedro Clerot: My Ultimate Driver
Pedro Clerot has built his ultimate racing driver and his lists includes quite a few Formula 1 world champions

Pedro Clerot’s preparations for the 2027 campaign have begun with the Rodin Motorsport driver having taken part in the Jerez post-season test earlier this week.
Recently, we caught up with the Brazilian to build his ultimate racing driver, and there are a few motorsport legends on Clerot’s list.
INTELLIGENCE
“That's a really good question. I'm going to say Senna. From everything I've seen from Ayrton, from his days, he was a guy that was always ahead of his time on and off track, so that's one of the big reasons why.
DRIVING IN THE WET
“Senna again. I think it's pretty straightforward. What Ayrton did in the wet was always spectacular, so I have to go with him.”

QUALIFYING
“Max Verstappen. Qualifying mentality and approach, he is very aggressive and if you over the years, he's always there in qualifying and can always extract more than what the car has.”

TYRE MANAGEMENT
“That's a good one. Lewis Hamilton is pretty good with that, so I'll go with him. Generally throughout his career we've seen obviously his tyres, ‘Bono my tyres are gone’, and then he can always go longer than what was expected, so I'm going to pick Lewis.”
BIGGEST RISKTAKER
“Max, for sure. He's all or nothing always.”

SMOOTH DRIVING STYLE
“Smoothest, I'm going to say, it's difficult actually, it can be a tricky question. The smoothest driving style, I'd say Lando. He drives really clean all the time, but Oscar also does. I'll go with Lando.”
AGGRESSIVE DRIVING STYLE
“I guess this is back to Max.”
ANYTHING ELSE?
“I would put Nelson Piquet’s technical knowledge, for sure. That guy is unbelievable. We live quite close in Brasilia, and I've been lucky enough to have a few chats with him while go-karting and also sometimes having dinner with him, so his technical knowledge is unreal, so it's a good mention to put that.”
