Mari Boya wins Dallara Best Overtaking Manoeuvre Award

Mari Boya added the Dallara Best Overtaking Manoeuvre Award to his 2025 record at the end-of-season FIA Formula 2 and 3 Prize Giving Ceremony.

The Spaniard earned the trophy for his pass on Lap 16 of the Silverstone Sprint Race, overtaking two cars in one move.

Boya went on to finish third in the Sprint having started from ninth on the grid for Campos Racing.

He went on to add a maiden Feature Race victory to his record the next day, en route to P3 in the Drivers’ Standings.

Accepting his award in Abu Dhabi after the Formula 2 season finale, Boya said: “I’m happy about my season. The way we started, anything like we ended up with is really good. Really thankful to the Campos team and Aston Martin for the full support.

“The overtake was really nice, a really beautiful race ending in a podium and similar move to Lewis Hamilton’s there too.”
