During today’s FIA Formula 3 drivers’ briefing at Monza, the Qualifying groups for Friday’s session were drawn.
It was confirmed that Group A will include all of the odd-numbered cars, while Group B will feature those with even numbers.
Group A is scheduled to take to the track first for the opening 10 minutes of running, which is set to get underway at 15:00 local time on Friday, with Group B set to follow at 15:20.
The grid will then be formed by an aggregated result from Qualifying, with the driver with the quickest time taking Pole Position for the Feature Race. The fastest driver in the opposite group will join them on the front row in P2.
Positions will then alternate between the two groups back and forth to fill out the remainder of the grid.
For Saturday’s Sprint Race, the sixth-fastest car in the second-fastest group will start the Sprint Race from reverse grid pole, with the driver in sixth from the pole-sitter’s group starting in second.
