Matteo De Palo returns with MP Motorsport for the 2027 season

MP Motorsport have announced the signing of Matteo De Palo for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.

De Palo returns for a second campaign in F3 after a rookie year where he finished 24th in the Drivers’ Championship, with a best result of P4 in the Silverstone Sprint Race.

Prior to 2025, the Italian placed second in the Formula Regional European Championship, achieving four victories and 11 podiums in total.

De Palo will now return for another campaign in F3 and he is delighted to be doing so with MP, with his sights set on continuing the good form they showed at the end of the 2026 season.

“I’m really excited to join MP Motorsport for my second year in FIA F3”, said De Palo. “Especially in the second half of this season, they were among the teams to beat, finishing the year on a high with victory, so I aim to do my part in maintaining that kind of form into 2027.

“It’s a Dutch team, but with an Italian flavour on the engineering side – I like that! The team is renowned for their welcoming atmosphere, so I’m sure I will feel right at home from the start.”
