The racing action may be over for 2026 but the work is not yet complete, with the first of two post-season tests set to get underway this week in Jerez.
The two days of running at the Spanish venue will give the teams a chance to start their preparations for 2027, as they look to hit the ground running next year.
But before we hit the track at the Circuito de Jerez, here is everything you need to know…
WHAT TO EXPECT
Testing will run from October 20-21 and on both days the morning session will go from 09:00 to 12:00 local time.
On Day 1, there will be a two-hour lunch break before the afternoon session gets underway at 14:00. The chequered flag will bring an end to the action at 17:00 local time.
However on the final day, the afternoon segment will start and end an hour earlier - going from 13:00 to 16:00 local time.
THE FIELD
-
There are 15 drivers taking part in the post-season test that have previously raced in Formula 3, while the other half of the grid will be driving F3 machinery for the first time.
-
Taito Kato, who finished fourth in the Drivers' Championship, is the highest returning driver from the 2026 Standings taking part in the test.
-
19 different countries will be represented in this test, with Keanu Al Azhari and Rashid Al Dhaheri set to be the first drivers from the United Arab Emirates to race in Formula 3 next season.
-
Ugo Ugochukwu set the fastest time of last year’s Jerez post-season testing for Campos Racing with a 1:30.012.
