So as we preview the upcoming weekend, let us look back at some of those memorable moments...
Now plying his trade in Formula 1, but back in 2019, Yuki Tsunoda enjoyed a superb weekend in Monza that gave him his first win in F3.
Coming of the back of a second-place finish at the Spa-Francorchamps Sprint Race, the Japanese driver continued his fine form in Italy finishing third in the Monza Feature.
Going from sixth on the grid on Sunday, Tsunoda made a lightning-fast start in damp conditions and was third by the time he exited Turn 2.
After taking second place on Lap 2, the Jenzer Motorsport driver set a couple of fastest laps before overtaking Jake Hughes for the lead on Lap 15.
Hughes did not give up without a fight, but Tsunoda was able to keep the place, and pull away before going on to win by 1.3s to Liam Lawson – who overtook Hughes late on to get P2.

It marked Tsunoda’s, Japan’s and Jenzer Motorsport’s first win in FIA Formula 3.
The 2022 epic season finale will live long in the memory as Victor Martins, Isack Hadjar, Roman Stanek, Oliver Bearman, Zane Maloney, Arthur Leclerc, and Jak Crawford all had a chance to win the title.
It started out with Qualifying where six out of the seven qualified in the top 10, with Hadjar down in P13. Bearman then finished second in the Sprint Race, while Maloney was fourth, with Crawford in seventh, Leclerc in eighth and Martins in P10.
Going into the final race of the season, Maloney made an excellent start from second to take the lead but lost out at Turn 1 on Lap 5 to Martins, who got up to P1, with his rival now down in third.
But the Bajan driver was able to reset and climbed back up from P3 to later overtake Martins down the Main Straight for the lead.
Bearman was next to get past the Frenchman going into Turn 1, before the race was Red Flagged following a collision between Brad Benavides and Kush Maini.

While in the pitlane, Martins was given a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits, dropping him to fourth and promoting Crawford to third.
But even with that, the ART Grand Prix driver won the title by just five points to Maloney. Bearman ended up third, ahead of Hadjar, Stanek, Leclerc and Crawford.
Gabriel Bortoleto has had many special moments at Monza, including his last-to-first victory there in Formula 2 last season. This came a year after he won the F3 title at the Italian venue.
It came in a rather peculiar fashion as his crowning moment came in Qualifying.
That is because Bortoleto had a 38-point lead over Paul Aron and a 39-point advantage over Josep María Martí, meaning that one of the two had to take pole for the title fight to continue into the weekend.
However, it was Bortoleto’s teammate Oliver Goethe that came out on top in Qualifying, securing pole, with Aron in third and Martí in 13th.

This meant that with the final two races of the season to go, Bortoleto was crowned the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Champion.
There were six drivers in with a chance of winning the title in 2024, but after the Sprint Race, it was just Leonardo Fornaroli, Gabriele Minì, Luke Browning and Arvid Lindblad.
Fornaroli had done the first part of his job by taking pole, while Minì was behind him in third, with Luke Browning in 13th and Lindblad in 18th.
Into the race and Alexander Dunne overtook Fornaroli for the lead on Lap 2, just as Sami Meguetounif got ahead of Minì for P3.
On to Lap 5 and Browning spun the Ascari chicane and while he would continue on, that all but end his hopes of winning the title.
Fornaroli then went through the gravel at the same corner on Lap 7, dropping him to fifth, and behind Minì, who was third.
But there was more drama to come as Minì, having fallen to fourth behind Christian Mansell, ran wide the second Lesmo corner, giving Fornaroli the chance to overtake him at the Ascari chicane on Lap 8.

Onto Lap 18, and both Fornaroli and Minì overtook Mansell, but the TRIDENT driver lost out to both on Lap 21 – the penultimate tour.
Heading on to the final lap, Minì – running in second – was set to win the title by a single point, but at the final corner of the season, Fornaroli sent it down the inside of Mansell into Parabolica.
The Italian was able to make the move stick to take P3, giving him the title by the barest of margins to his compatriot.
