We hand the reigns over to our newest racer winner, Jack Doohan, who crafts a brand-new addition to the Formula 3 calendar.

Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrity that he would invite, the Trident driver creates a new race weekend.

WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?

“Australia because it’s my home country. I haven't actually ever raced there in a single-seater car before, which is another reason. I would hold the race in my hometown, Gold Coast.

“Gold Coast has awesome weather all year round without too much chance of rain, although I don't mind if it does rain. In winter it isn't too cold, so warming the tyres up wouldn't be an issue.”

WHEN WOULD THE RACE BE?

“I would hold it around June time. I would love to do it in January, near to my birthday, but it would be too warm, so let’s say June when I know it will be slightly cooler.”

HOW WOULD THE TRACK BE LAID OUT?

“I would have a regular circuit just on the basis that I haven't had much experience on a street circuit. The opening corner would be an on-the-limit, right-hander, followed by a downhill slope that goes up into Eau Rouge, Raidillon and Les Combes, which I will steal from Spa.

“From there, we head up into a quick uphill right-hander, then I would have a quick right-hander uphill, something like the part the part of Suzuka that comes after the ‘S’ curves. I am not a fan of slow-speed corners, so we will avoid hairpins until right at the end. The rest can all be high speed.

“Now we can go back downhill into Minerali from Imola before a medium-speed corner with a kink at the exit. Five more corners to wrap it off. Starting with Turns 4 and 5 from Monza and the first turn of the Curve di Lesmo. I would take the second last corner from Sepang, which is a really quick right-hander that tightens up. Finishing it up for the last corner would be an off-cambered hairpin.”

DAY OR NIGHT?

“It would have to be at night. I did a night race once in Dubai and I loved it. The car and the balance are working the best at night, and so is the engine. It is not usually too hot, so you feel more comfortable inside of the car. Under the lights, everything looks cool, and it creates a good atmosphere."

DRY OR WET?

“Ideally, the first race would be dry, the second race drying on slicks, and the third in the rain.”

WHICH CELEBRITY WOULD YOU INVITE TO THE RACE?

“Daniel Ricciardo. That would be awesome.”

WHAT ARTISTS WOULD PERFORM AT THE RACE?

“Odie and Frank Ocean.”
