The 2025 FIA Formula 3 campaign is over and it was one for the record books, as this year we saw several benchmarks broken, history created and two new Champions crowned.

So as we continue to recap a wonderful year of racing, let us look at some of the big statistics that helped to define an incredible season.

WINS

This year we saw 11 different drivers take to the top step of the podium at least once – just one behind the record number of 12 set in 2021 and 2024.

Additionally, we saw seven teams achieve victories as well, tied for the second most in a season. This season, we saw:

  • Rafael Câmara win four races, equalling Dennis Hauger, Jack Doohan, Zak O’Sullivan and Arvid Lindblad for the most wins in a season.

  • This means he ends his F3 career tying Lindblad for the highest win percentage in the Championship’s history with 20%.

  • Câmara’s title rival Nikola Tsolov also made history of his own. With his two victories this season, coupled with his three from 2024, he has five wins in F3 – the most by any driver.

  • Roman Bilinski was one of five rookies to win a race this year – alongside Câmara, Noah Stromsted, James Wharton and Ivan Domingues. The Pole’s victory in the Monza Sprint made him the 60th winner in F3 history.

  • In addition to that, Bilinski became Poland’s first winner in F3, while Domingues did the same for Portugal.

  • Campos Racing won the Teams’ Championship after a tremendous Monza Feature Race victory with Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak. It was the Spanish team’s best year in F3, as with six wins, they nearly doubled their total from the previous six campaigns of seven.

  • As for Inthraphuvasak, he took three of those six victories, the second most of the season behind Câmara. He also became Thailand’s first winner in Formula 3.

POLE POSITIONS AND FRONT ROWS

While many drivers on the grid had qualifying efforts that they were pleased with, only three of them can say they achieved pole in 2024.

Câmara, Tsolov and Brad Benavides are the only ones to have taken P1 on Friday this season, the lowest tally in F3 history.

  • Câmara achieved over half of the Aramco Pole Position Awards this season with five. This is means he owns the record for the most poles in F3 history.

  • In addition to that, the 2025 Champion also qualified second at Spa-Francorchamps, meaning he ended the year with six front row starts, the most in one season.

  • Tsolov also had three pole positions himself this year, putting him equal Logan Sargeant and Hauger for the second most poles in a season.

  • In total, nine drivers started from the front row this season, equalling the 2022 campaign for the fourth most in one year.

PODIUMS

21 drivers recorded at least one podium finish this season – tying the record that was set in 2024.

  • Tsolov led the way with six, ahead of Câmara, Mari Boya and Martinius Stenshorne, who each ended the year with five.

  • Tsolov also stood on the top step of the second youngest podium in F3 history at the Sakhir Sprint Race. He was joined by Freddie Slater and Tuukka Taponen, and at the time, the trio had an average age of 17 years, 10 months and two days.

  • The 2025 season also saw nine teams take to the podium at least once – tying the 2020 and 2021 campaigns for the second most in one campaign.

  • Leading the way, Campos Racing had the most podiums with 14, ahead of TRIDENT in second with 10.

LAPS COMPLETED, LAPS LED AND FASTEST LAP

This season, we saw 17 drivers lead at least one lap of a race, which is one shy of the record number of 18 set in 2024.

  • Of the 385 laps raced this year, Câmara led 97 of them, which is a record for a single season.

  • Câmara and his teammate Stromsted led the way with four fastest laps in 2024 – this ties Marcus Armstrong in 2019 as well as Victor Martins and Hauger in 2021 for the most fastest laps in one season.

  • Inthraphuvasak though was the lone member on the grid who completed each racing lap this year. The Thai driver went the entire year without one DNF.

  • Inthraphuvasak also led 39 laps of his own this year, which was third behind his teammate Tsolov in second, who was in P1 for 62 laps in 2025.

POINTS

It was a record-breaking year when it came to the points for several teams and drivers. Here is how:

  • Câmara’s 166 points scored is the third most of all time, behind only Dennis Hauger’s 205 in 2021 and Robert Shwarzman’s 212 in 2019.

  • Campos though were the only team to have all three of their drivers in the top 10 of the Drivers' Standings. This is a recipe for winning the Teams’ Championship, with TRIDENT in 2021 the only time a title-winner has not had all three drivers in the top 10 – with Jack Doohan second, Clement Novalak third and David Schumacher in 11th.

  • DAMS Lucas Oil finished at the bottom of the Teams’ Standings with 30 points. However, that is a record points haul for the last-place team in Formula 3.
