Shin handed post-Qualifying penalty at Silverstone

Following the conclusion of FIA Formula 3 Qualifying in Silverstone, Woohyun Shin has been handed a grid penalty.
The Hitech driver was picked up for a pit lane infringement after failing to stop at the red light at the pit exit.
After the session, the Stewards reviewed both video footage and positioning/marshalling system and heard from the driver and a team representative.
Having considered the matter, the Stewards that the driver failed to stop at the red light at the pit exit and therefore breached Article 31.3 of the FIA Formula 3 Championship Sporting Regulations.
The Stewards therefore elected to impose a penalty of three places for both the Sprint and Feature Races in line with the Formula 3 Penalty Guidelines.
