Salim Hanna joins Campos Racing for 2027 season

Campos Racing has confirmed that Salim Hanna will join the team for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.

The Colombian driver accumulated some experience in the Championship this year, making appearances at the Spielberg and Budapest rounds.

The 16-year-old made his single-seater debut in 2024, finishing seventh in the Formula Trophy UAE series before full campaigns in 2025 across the Middle East, Italian F4 and E4 Championships. He earned nine podiums and one victory across all four series', finishing fourth in the Italian division.

In 2026, he graduated to the Formula Regional European Championship where he finished seventh in the standings with one win and three further podiums.

Freshly announced to be joining the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, Hanna said he was grateful to Campos for the opportunity and excited about the coming season.

"I’m very happy and grateful to be part of this incredible team and family. From day one, I’ve felt so comfortable and welcomed, and I’m really looking forward to learn and improve day by day. I know we have a strong team, and I hope we can fight at the front and achieve great things together next year!"

Team Principal Adrián Campos added: “I would like to welcome Salim to our team on behalf of everyone at Campos Racing. We are very happy to have a driver like him with us for next season. He is a young talent with a very interesting career so far and has shown steady progression since he began racing single-seaters.

We want to repeat the results we have achieved over the past two seasons in FIA F3, and we will put all our effort into that goal from day one.
