Noah Stromsted handed post-Qualifying penalty

Following the FIA Formula 3 Monte Carlo Qualifying session, TRIDENT driver Noah Stromsted has been handed a penalty.
During the session, the driver of Car 4 was alleged to have impeded Car 8, MP Motorsport’s Tuukka Taponen at Turns 3 and 4.
After the session, the Stewards reviewed available evidence and heard from both drivers and their respective team representatives. They determined that Stromsted had impeded Taponen, breaching Article 31.6 of the FIA Formula 3 Sporting Regulations. They also noted that the TRIDENT driver could have taken more steps to avoid the incident.
As a result, they elected to apply the standard three-place penalty, with the Dane set to serve the penalty in both the Sprint and Feature Races this weekend in Monaco.
