Get to know Campos Racing’s Hungarian star László Tóth a little better with an inside look at the 21-year-old’s biggest achievements, his racing heroes, and his favourite tracks.
NAME: László Tóth DATE OF BIRTH: 02/06/2001 NATIONALITY: Hungarian 2021 TEAM: Campos Racing
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
“I grew up in fairly central Budapest around half an hour from the Hungaroring. It's a beautiful city, with really nice, friendly people. There's a lot of culture and a lot of tradition.”

FIRST RACING MEMORY
“My first racing memory is from karting. I was on a Hungarian track nearby to my home. I cannot remember too much about it honestly... But it went well, and I survived! It's a really pleasant memory.”
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A RACING DRIVER?
“The pure speed and the g-forces - the feeling of going on the limit is spectacular.”
BIGGEST RACING ACHIEVEMENT?
“Driving in Formula 3 has to be one of them. I also have some good memories from karting but driving in Formula 3 is my favourite.”
RACING STYLE
“I would say it's quite calm, I put more effort into the finer things in driving instead of being a more aggressive driver. I like to try and be as smooth as possible and focus on the small details.”

FAVOURITE TRACK ON THE F3 CALENDAR
“Hungaroring is one of them because it’s a home race, so that is a special one for me. Spa is also really cool.”
RACING HERO
“There aren’t really any drivers who I support or cheer on, but I enjoy watching anyone who is calmer and less aggressive.”
