Hunter Yeany withdraws from Spielberg weekend due to broken wrist

Campos Racing has confirmed that Hunter Yeany will not take part in the Formula 3 Feature Race on Sunday after sustaining a broken wrist.
The American suffered the injury following contact during the Sprint Race on Saturday morning in Spielberg. Yeany continued on in the race and finished 21st.
A team statement confirmed that the injury was discovered post-race following a medical examination and that he would be withdrawing for the remaining race.
“Hunter Yeany has to withdraw from Round 5 in Spielberg, Austria, following an incident at T3 during today's FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race. The American driver made heavy contact with another car, and broke his left wrist.
“He managed to take the chequered flag, but upon a medical examination, it was found that he had sustained a fracture. “Futher medical updates will be given in due course.”
Formula 3 would like to extend best wishes to Hunter Yeany and wish him a speedy recovery.
