Following Thursday evening’s FIA Formula 3 drivers’ briefing in Monza, the Qualifying groups for Friday’s session have been decided.
It was confirmed that Group A will include all of the even-numbered cars, while Group B will feature those with odd numbers.
Group A is scheduled to take to the track first for the opening 10 minutes of running, which is set to get underway at 14:00 local time on Friday, with Group B set to follow at 14:20.
The grid will then be formed by an aggregated result as the driver with the quickest time takes Pole Position for the Feature Race. The fastest driver in the opposite group will join them on the front row in second.
Positions will then alternate between the two groups back and forth to fill out the remainder of the grid.
For Saturday’s Sprint Race, the sixth-fastest car in the second-fastest group will start the Sprint Race from reverse grid pole, while the driver in sixth from the pole-sitter’s group starting in second.
