The second official pre-season test of the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship will open tomorrow at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain. There will be no driver changes compared to the first session with twenty-nine drivers already confirmed for the 2019 season, whilst Andreas Estner from Germany will continue to test with Jenzer Motorsport at the wheel of car #16.

Three weeks ago, it was ART Grand Prix’s Christian Lundgaard who set the quickest laptime overall at Le Castellet on Day 2. PREMA Racing’s Marcus Armstrong set the pace on Day 1 in the afternoon session.

This week, each driver will be provided with six sets of Hard compounds over the course of the two days. On top of that, Pirelli will make available wet weather tyres since the weather forecast looks a bit uncertain.

The pitlane will open at 09:00 on Tuesday morning, and will run until 12:00 before breaking for two hours. The session will restart at 14:00 before ending at 17:00. Wednesday’s session will break for just one hour, with the afternoon running taking place from 13:00 to 16:00.
