Jenzer Motorsport have completed their driver line-up for 2020 with the capture of Italian Federico Malvestiti. The 19-year-old will link up with already announced duo Calan Williams and Matteo Nannini for the new campaign.

Malvestiti made his F3 debut at Silverstone last year and is poised for his first full season in the Championship. The Monza-born racer has history with Jenzer, having raced for the team in Italian F4 in 2017 and ’18.

The 19-year-old was a podium finisher in the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup campaign and will now look to continue his ascent up the junior motorsport ladder.

"I'm very happy to compete in FIA F3 this season with Jenzer Motorsport,” Malvestiti said. “We already worked together for two years in F4 and we achieved a lot of good memories and results.

“I'm looking forward to start the new season, and to work with these guys in a so high competition as Formula 3."

With their 2020 line-up now complete, focus will switch to building on an impressive 2019 campaign, where the Swiss side secured one win and two further podiums through Yuki Tsunoda.

Team Principal Andreas Jenzer added: “We welcome Federico! It is very motivating for all of us that he is back with his “old team!”

“With three rookies, it won't be easy to shine with top results straightaway. However, we will all work hard and are sure to deliver good results soon.”
