Van Amersfoot Racing have confirmed the signing of Yevan David for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season

Van Amersfoort Racing have announced the signing of Yevan David for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season.
David returns for a second campaign in F3 after a positive rookie year where he finished 18th in the Drivers’ Championship with 35 points – helped by podium in the Silverstone Sprint Race.
Prior to this season he competed in the 2025 Euroformula Open Championship and he finished second in the Standings with six wins and 14 podiums in total.
The 19-year-old is excited to be back to compete in F3 and to be doing so with VAR.
“Stepping into VAR for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season feels like the right move at the right time,” said David. “The leadership team has a clear vision, proven experience and a competitive mindset that matches how I want to operate.
“I’m excited to learn from them, contribute to that culture and test myself against the strongest field in junior single-seaters. The challenge is big, but so is the opportunity. I’m ready to work, grow and deliver everything I can throughout the 2027 season”
Van Amersfoort Racing Team Principal Brad Joyce added: “We’re pleased to welcome Yevan to Van Amersfoort Racing. He showed great potential in his first FIA Formula 3 season, with a strong second-place finish in the Silverstone Sprint Race.
“Joining the VAR team will give him a new environment for his second year, and our aim is to turn that experience into great results. We’re looking forward to getting to know him and working with him during the post-season test. This will be a good opportunity to prepare for the 2027 season.”
