Vesti receives three-place grid drop for Budapest Race 1

Championship challenger Frederik Vesti has been handed a three-place grid drop for Race 1 at the Hungaroring, following today’s Qualifying session.
The ART Grand Prix driver – who is currently second in the Drivers’ standings - has been penalised for driving unnecessarily slowly between turns 12 and 14.
Using video and telemetry evidence, the Stewards compared the time to previous preparation laps from the ART Grand Prix driver and found that he was more than five seconds slower between the two turns.
As a result of the Dane’s slow speed, some of the drivers behind him were forced to abort their laps.
Vesti qualified seventh on track and will serve the grid drop in Race 1, meaning that instead of starting from sixth on the reverse grid, he will now start from P9.
