Schumacher joins Campos for season finale

Campos Racing have announced that David Schumacher will complete their three-man driver line-up for the FIA Formula 3 season finale in Sochi, Russia.
The German will team up with Alessio Deledda and Sebastian Fernández at the Spanish outfit, substituting for Alex Peroni, who suffered an injury in Monza, Italy.
The 17-year-old will be the second Schumacher in the support paddock in Russia, joining his cousin Mick Schumacher, who drives for PREMA Racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Son of former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher, the German has already tasted success in single-seater racing, claiming the Vice-Champion title in the 2018 Formula 4 UAE Championship, with three wins. While, he has also taken three wins in the Formula Regional European Championship this season.
Discussing his Formula 3 debut, Schumacher said: “I am really happy to join a high-profile team such as Campos Racing. It will be my first time driving a car like this, so we should be realistic and put our focus on learning as much as possible.”
Campos Racing President Adrian Campos added: “I would like to extend a very warm welcome to such a talented driver as David. I am sure that he is definitely promising a brilliant future in motorsport. We are aiming at helping him progress his career.”
