Round 3 post-free practice penalties

Campos Racing’s Sebastián Fernández has been handed a three-place grid penalty for tomorrow’s Race 1 at the Red Bull Ring.

The Spanish driver was found to have passed through the pit exit after the red light was displayed at the end of this morning’s Free Practice session.

Moreover, Richard Verschoor of MP Motorsport has also been penalised by the Stewards for a separate incident in which he failed to stop at the weighbridge during the session.

As a result, all lap times set by the Dutchman prior to the infringement have been cancelled.
