During the FIA Formula 3 drivers’ briefing at Monza, the Qualifying groups for Friday’s session have been decided. Group A will include all even-numbered cars, while Group B will feature all of the odd-numbered cars.
Group A will be the first out on track for the opening segment of the session, currently scheduled to get underway at 15:00 local time on Friday. Group B will follow at 15:21.
The grid will then be formed by an aggregated result of the Qualifying session, with the driver with the fastest time starting the Feature Race from Pole Position. The fastest driver in the opposite group will then start from the front row in P2.
Positions will then alternate between the two groups back and forth to fill out the remainder of the grid. The sixth-fastest car in the second-fastest group will start the Sprint Race from reverse grid Pole, with the driver in sixth from the Pole-sitter’s group earning P2 for Saturday’s race.
