NAME: Filip Ugran
DATE OF BIRTH: 12/09/2002
NATIONALITY: Romanian
2021 TEAM: Jenzer Motorsport
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
“I grew up in Romania, in a city called Târgu Mureș. It is quite a small, old city, but there are some newer parts and we are starting to modernise it.”
FIRST RACING MEMORY
“I remember starting from pole and winning a race in karting. Someone got passed me at one point, but I got back ahead of them and then stayed in front of the rest of the race, building a big gap. It was in a German Championship.”

RACING STYLE
“Quite aggressive. I like to try overtakes in many different places, but I also think that I am good at preserving the tyres during a race.”
RACING HERO
“I have followed Lewis Hamilton since the beginning of his racing career.”
__BIGGEST RACING ACHIEVEMENT __
“A Formula 4 win in Imola. I started from P4, passed a few drivers at the beginning of the race, and then I was in the lead and had to hold off those behind me.”

FAVOURITE TRACK ON THE F3 CALENDAR
“Paul Ricard, I really enjoy driving there. I like the high-speed corners where you can carry a lot of speed.”
