Doohan and Nannini handed post-Race 1 penalties

Jack Doohan and Matteo Nannini have both received penalties following today’s FIA Formula 3 Race 1, at Monza.
Doohan has been given a five second time penalty after it was found that he overtook Enzo Fittipaldi before the end of a Safety Car period.
The Stewards examined video evidence and determined that the Australian passed his teammate after the withdrawal of the Safety Car, but before they crossed the start line. With the five seconds applied, Doohan drops from P12 to 17th place, behind Alex Peroni.
Nannini has been served with a five-place grid drop for Race 2 on Sunday for causing contact between himself and Liam Lawson.
The Stewards found that the Jenzer Motorsport driver braked too late going into Turn 1, which caused him to lock up and t-bone the Hitech Grand Prix driver, pushing him off track. With the grid drop applied, Nannini will start Race 2 from last place on the grid.
