AIX Racing confirm Freddie Slater for Round 2 in Sakhir

AIX Racing have confirmed that Freddie Slater will be racing for the team at Round 2 of the 2025 Formula 3 season at the Bahrain International Circuit.

It will be Slater’s first competitive action in F3, although he did drive for AIX at the most recent in-season test last month at the same Sakhir venue.

The 16-year-old has a stellar record in single seater racing, winning the 2024 UAE Formula 4 and Italian F4 Championships, and most recently finishing second in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship.

Slater is now set to race for AIX in Sakhir and talked of his delight at the opportunity to compete in Formula 3.

"Looking forward to the new exciting challenge of FIA F3,” said Slater. “I will make the most of this opportunity working with the AIX Racing team at Bahrain. It's always been a circuit I have wanted to drive, so to get to test and race F3 there will be a massive privilege.
