AIX Racing have announced that James Hedley will be racing for the team for the remainder of the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season.

Hedley returns to the Championship after having taken part in the Monte Carlo round last year, finishing P20 and P22 in the Sprint and Feature Races.

Prior to that, the Briton won the 2019 Ginetta Junior Championship, before making his single seater debut in 2020 in British F4. He achieved eight victories in his two seasons in the category.

The 21-year-old then moved up to the GB3 Championship and in his three seasons, scored six podiums, including two victories.

In 2025, Hedley has already competed in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship and is now set to step up to Formula 3 full time. Following the announcement, he expressed his gratitude to those that made it possible.

"It’s an absolute dream come true for me and something I never thought could happen,” he said. “I want to thank Ackel GP very very much and AIX Racing for putting their faith in me.

“I am super excited to start getting used to the new car and working closely with the team to achieve some respectable results sooner rather than later.”
