Hitech Pulse-Eight rookie Martinius Stenshorne has certainly made a name for himself in Formula 3 becoming one of four first time winners this year after taking to the top step following the Melbourne Sprint Race.

So, as we continue to learn more about the Norwegian, we decided to ask him about his home in Hokksund, food, driving, swimming and much more.

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?

“I grew up in Norway of course in a small town called Hokksund. It's where I have lived most of my life and where I started getting into racing, driving around my garage and everything so that's where everything started."

WHAT LANGAUGES ARE SPOKEN THERE?

“Norwegian.”

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE IT TO SOMEONE?

“I don't know how to describe it that well, but I would say it's quite a small town, most people know each other, so it’s really friendly and it's really nice.”

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

“Normally it's quite good. In the winter it's quite cold around minus 28. In the summer it can get up to 28 again but plus, so normally it's quite good, not too much rain either so it's quite nice.”

WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR SOMEONE WHO’S VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME?

“We can go swimming in the lake but also you can come with me to drive some really bad cars in the field.”

WHERE SHOULD PEOPLE GO FOR FOOD?

“I would say probably at my grandparents’ house. It's the best place.”

WHERE CAN WE GO KARTING THERE?

“It’s not too far. It's about thirty minutes away from my house but my home track is about one hour away, so it's not too far.”
