During Wednesday’s Drivers’ Briefing, a ballot was held to decide the order of the two groups for Round 2’s FIA Formula 3 Qualifying session in Monte Carlo.

Group A will be formed of even-numbered cars, while Group B will be made up of odd-numbered cars.

Group A will start Qualifying on track first, with the opening segment of the session scheduled for 11:05 on Friday morning, while Group B will follow at 11:29 local time.

The grid will then be determined by an aggregated result of both sessions, with the fastest overall driver starting Sunday’s Feature Race from Pole Position. The fastest driver in the opposite group will start alongside them on the front row. Positions will then alternate back and forth between the Groups to fill out the remainder of the grid.

The sixth-fastest car from the second group will start Saturday’s Sprint Race from reverse grid Pole Position, with the sixth-quickest driver from the group with the fastest driver going from P2.
