Cordeel handed post-Race 3 time penalty

Amaury Cordeel has received a time penalty following today’s Race 3 at Paul Ricard, after he was found to have forced Oliver Rasmussen off track.

Cordeel attempted to overtake the HWA RACELAB of Rasmussen through Turn 11, with the duo going side-by-side. The Stewards have determined that the Campos Racing driver made a full exit to the outside of the track without having obtained sufficient advantage, forcing Rasmussen off track.

As a result, 5s have been added to the Belgian’s race time, although he retains his P25 placing.
