Hitech TGR have announced that Jesse Carrasquedo will be driving for the team for the next two rounds in Barcelona and Spielberg.

Carrasquedo made the step up to single seaters in 2022, competing in the Spanish F4 Championship. Since then, the 18-year-old has also raced in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, as well as the Formula Regional Middle East and Eurocup-3 categories.

The Mexican driver does have previous experience driving in Formula 3, having taken part in both 2024 post-season tests in Jerez and Barcelona.

Carrasquedo will now step up to F3 full-time and following the announcement, he expressed his delight at the opportunity to be racing for Hitech.

“I’m super excited to take the step up to FIA Formula 3 and my thanks to Hitech for this opportunity,” said Carrasquedo. “I’m ready to learn as much as possible and perform the best I can.”

Hitech TGR Team Manager Paul Bellringer added: “We are pleased to welcome Jesse to the team at this critical point of the season, with Barcelona marking the midpoint of the calendar. He brings plenty of single-seater experience and I am sure he will make the most of this opportunity to demonstrate that he is ready to step up to the next level.

“It is disappointing for Joshua and Hitech that we will not be able to continue together for the remainder of the season. We wish him well for the future.”
