Hitech Pulse-Eight rookie Martinius Stenshorne impressed plenty in his debut race weekend in Formula 3, finishing just out of the points in both races.

He is all set to go racing for Round 2 in Melbourne but before he hits the track again, we thought you may want to know the Norwegian racer a little better.

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST RACING MEMORY?

“My first racing memory is when I started karting. I don't really remember it too well, but I started when I was four and I remember my first races in Norway when I was around seven years old. It was a lot of fun, plenty of lot of enjoyment, it was the beginning for me, so I learnt a lot and I had a lot of fun."

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RACING STYLE?

“My racing style I would say is quite aggressive maybe. I like to have a good fight on track.”

WHO IS YOUR RACING HERO?

“I don't have one anymore. Well, I do actually. My father has always been my hero, he taught me a lot when I started so it has to be him. My grandad also, they both used to race, and they have always taught me a lot.”

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST RACING ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?

“I had some good results in 2018, karting in Mini that was for sure the karting highlight, and in single seaters last season was quite good. I finished second in the Formula Regional European Championship, so I am quite happy about that as well."

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A RACING DRIVER?

“You skip school. No in all seriousness, you get to travel a lot around the world. You don't always go visiting a lot of places but it's nice to see these places and of course the main part is driving which is always a lot of fun."

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TRACK ON THE F3 CALENDAR?
