Salim Hanna will race for AIX Racing at Round 4 of the FIA Formula 3 season the team has confirmed.
The Colombian driver will replace Brad Benavides as the American continues his recovery from Monte Carlo.
Hanna arrives in the Championship after competing in the Italian, British and UAE Formula 4 Championship’s last season, and mid-way through his rookie Formula Regional European Championship campaign this year where he is currently sixth in the Standings.
Hanna said of his upcoming F3 debut: “I want to thank God for this opportunity. I am excited to join the FIA Formula 3 with AIX Racing this weekend and I am looking forward to learn, improve and drive the Formula 3 car overall.”
