Three drivers have received penalties following the FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race at Silverstone.

Charouz Racing System driver Lázslo Tóth has received a five-second time penalty following the race. The stewards found that after reviewing video evidence, the Hungarian driver had lined up on the grid outside of the confines of his grid box, falling foul of Article 37.9 of the FIA Formula 3 Sporting Regulations which states cars "must stop within their respective starting grid positions."

Rafael Villagómez was found to have breached the same Article of the F3 Sporting Regulations in respect to being outside of his starting grid slot, and also received a five-second time penalty. The time penalty drops him from 23rd to 26th in the final classification.

Zdenek Chovanec was also investigated for the same offence. The stewards found him to have been outside of his grid slot and he was assigned a five-second time penalty. In addition, Chovanec has received a three-place grid drop for the next race in which he competes after being deemed wholly at fault for the collision with Charouz teammate Tóth at Turn 17, after losing control of the car going into the corner. The stewards determined that the Portuguese driver committed to a low probability move and as a result collided with Tóth.
