Zane Maloney receives post-Qualifying penalty

Trident’s Zane Maloney has been penalised following today’s Qualifying session in Barcelona.
The Bajan driver has been ordered to start both Saturday’s Sprint Race and Sunday’s Feature Race from the pit lane after failing to stop at the FIA weighbridge when asked to do so, as he returned to the pits mid-session. In addition, the Trident team then began working on the #3 car.
Maloney originally qualified in 12th and had been set to start the Sprint Race on reverse-grid pole. His penalty promotes Campos Racing's David Vidales to P1 for tomorrow’s starting grid.
