Jehan Daruvala rolls the dice

This new feature explores the alternate side to our racing drivers. What’s always in their fridge? What do they do in their spare time? What’s on their bucket list? The drivers simply have to roll a set of dice and answer questions that link to the numbers they roll.

4. What couldn’t you live without?

Food. Just food in general [laughs]. I am a fan of Japanese, Thai, Indian, and Italian - I just love eating food. The firecracker chicken from Wagamama's is probably my favourite if I had to choose.

9. Who is your celebrity crush?

I don’t really have one, but I do like this Indian celebrity called Deepika Padukone. She is a Bollywood actor, but she also does English movies, like xXx.

3. What items are always in your fridge?

Parmesan cheese and water. If it is salad or Italian food, I always have parmesan.

2. Who is your idol?

In motorsport, it would be Fernando Alonso. Since I was a kid, I have always watched him on TV. Even when he wasn’t in a good car, he was always getting the best out of it, so he was probably my favourite, if I had to choose one.

6. What is your biggest fear?

To be honest, I don't think that I am really scared of anything. Maybe, my biggest fear is heights. I didn’t used to be scared of heights, but the more bungee jumps I done, the more scared I became.

I have done six or seven bungee jumps. Every time I go, I become more scared. The first time I went, I was a kid, about 13-years-old and I didn’t care, I just jumped off. Maybe I am growing up and becoming more sensible.
