If you look at my helmet, I think that you will see a proper Italian design, which was important to me. It uses Italian colours and an Italian brand, which means that people can recognise me in the car really easily. The design is my father's design, he was an amateur driver. I used his design for my helmet, but made it a little bit more modern.

I started with these colours when I began my career in karting. The design and the colours have remained really similar, just changing a few details and I really like it. I think that it is an aggressive helmet, which matches my driving style.

Generally, I think I am an aggressive driver, I love the fight and to overtake. Most of my design is related to the Italian flag, because this period is important for Italian drivers, so to have the flag is really important for us. I am very proud to represent Italy.

I grew up in Rome, the capital of Italy, and I started karting really late, around 2011/12 in Rome. All of the karting drivers know the track in Rome - it is probably one of the most famous ones in the world, because it is so difficult.

Since I started my career, I have worked with Mad56 on my designs. It was a funny story actually, because I am now here in Formula 3 and he is a now a painter in Formula 1. Basically, the first year that I went to him, I said 'I am no one, you are no one; let’s grow together and start together.'

Now he is painting for drivers in Formula 1 and I am very thankful for him and for Stilo. He is a very good guy and he was actually a karter as well and he was very fast. He does maybe one race a year and when he does it, he wins it. He is a real artist with a big moustache.
