Three drivers have received penalties following today’s Formula 3 Feature Race at Barcelona.

PREMA Racing’s Arthur Leclerc has been handed a five second time penalty for erratic driving whilst battling with Juan Manuel Correa along the pit straight during the closing stages of this morning’s race. Whilst the ART Grand Prix driver moved towards the right-hand side of the track before Leclerc was alongside him, the Monégasque driver attempted to overtake him using the gap on the same side. Leclerc drove on to the grass, before re-joining the track and passing Correa into Turn 1 but did give the position back at the first available opportunity. Leclerc, who had finished in P14, now drops to P16.

Ido Cohen was awarded a five second time penalty for erratic driving, after it was found that the Jenzer Motorsport driver had changed directions more than once when Kush Maini attempted to overtake him along the main straight. The Israeli driver made a second move to the right, causing the MP Motorsport driver to touch the back of Cohen’s car. Cohen had finished in P17 and with the penalty applied, he now classifies P22.

Lastly, Enzo Trulli has received a five second time penalty for causing a collision with Brad Benavides. Trulli had been suffering with brake issues towards the end of the race and despite trying to avoid contact, his front wing caught his Carlin teammate’s rear right wheel on the exit of Turn 1. Classified in P23, the penalty drops the Italian driver to P24.
