The FIA Formula 2 and the FIA Formula 3 Championships reveal new visual identities, introducing redesigned logos that reinforce both categories’ positions within the FIA single-seater pyramid and their relationship to Formula 1.
The refreshed branding of the two championships complements the iconic F1 identity, reflecting their role as the final steps on the road to Formula 1 for the world’s most promising young drivers.
Both logos have been simplified into a single-colour design, creating a cleaner and more modern look.
F2 retains its distinctive blue colour scheme, a recognisable and established identity that has become closely associated with the championship among fans and stakeholders alike.
Meanwhile, F3 adopts a bold new orange colour, replacing the previous grey and red palette. The new colour was chosen for its dynamic, energetic and vibrant nature, reflecting the youthful and competitive spirit of the championship.
The new logos will be introduced across all championships' platforms and assets, including digital channels, broadcast graphics, trackside branding, and promotional materials, and mark a new chapter for both F2 and F3 as they continue to develop the next generation of Formula 1 talent and strengthen their place at the heart of the FIA pyramid.
His Excellency Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the FIA, said: “FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3 are fundamental pillars of our global single-seater pathway, nurturing the talent that will shape the future of Formula 1 and world motorsport. These new visual identities modernise both championships while reinforcing their important place within the FIA pyramid and their connection to the pinnacle of our sport."
Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Formula 1, said: “Formula 2 and Formula 3 are a critical part of our sport, providing the training and framework for drivers to reach Formula 1. It is important that it is clear to fans how the pyramid operates and having a clean, modern visual identity that complements F1 helps to deliver that. I would like to thank FIA President, His Excellency Mohammed Ben-Sulayem, and F2 and F3 CEO, Bruno Michel, for their collaboration and commitment to building our sport together in such a clear and recognisable way.”
Bruno Michel, FIA Formula 2 & FIA Formula 3 CEO, said: “I am delighted to unveil our new F2 and F3 logos, which have been developed in close collaboration with Formula 1 and the FIA. Our aim was to better visually convey the journey towards Formula 1 through the elite motorsport pyramid. Blue has always been F2’s colour and is well recognised by its fans, and for F3, we’ve taken the opportunity to inject a brand-new, vibrant and dynamic orange into the logo, which we believe the fans will love.”
