Campos Racing has completed its driver line-up for the 2023 season with the confirmation Josep Maria Martí. The Spaniard will return for a second season in FIA Formula 3 after completing the 2022 season with the team.

Martí graduated from karting with a Spanish junior Championship to his name. He finished the 2021 Spanish F4 season third in the Drivers’ Standings, taking two wins and nine podiums that year with Campos. For 2022, Martí stayed with the Spanish team for his move to FIA F3, finishing his first year in the Championship in 25th.

The 17-year-old has also been driving in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship ahead of the new F3 season and is currently 14th. He will partner Hugh Barter and Christian Mansell at the Spanish outfit this year.

Speaking about his re-signing with Campos, Martí said that he was looking forward to continuing his time with the team.

“I’m very pleased to continue my involvement in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing for 2023. We completed a promising season, constantly learning and improving our results, and the season came to an end with very positive testing sessions. I hope to have a strong season and continue my positive feedback with the team.”

Team Principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “It’s such a pleasure to have Pepe (Martí) with us for a third consecutive season, because our goal has always been to help our drivers through the single-seater pyramid towards F1, and Pepe is a perfect example. He is one of those that make up our large family and we are looking forward to achieving strong results together in his second FIA F3 season, because our team has plenty of trust placed in him.”
