Whilst the weather back home in the UK might be rather chilly, Taylor Barnard’s got his eyes set on some warmer and sunnier conditions, as he becomes the latest driver to try his hand at creating his dream race weekend.

Coming up with his ultimate hybrid circuit, the Jenzer Motorsport racer is keen to give himself plenty of opportunities to make a move out on track.

WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?

“Definitely in a warm country with a consistent weather throughout the year. So, I would say somewhere like Spain or Italy, like in Central Europe, which is quite warm all year round.”

WHEN WOULD YOU HOLD THE RACE?

“Probably in March or April, seeing as the weather’s not extremely hot and it's not extremely cold. It’s around 25°C, which is a nice temperature.”

DAY OR NIGHT?

“Night race!”

STREET TRACK OR PERMANENT CIRCUIT?

“I would say a half and half track, a mix of them. There are good bits to tracks like Monaco and Abu Dhabi, with many nice sections, so if I could have a be a mix, it would be that would be ideal.

WET OR DRY RACE?

“Dry race because the fighting between the drivers and overall, the race is better.”

HOW WOULD THE TRACK BE LAID OUT?

“I think I would start with something like Sector 2 from Mugello, with some really long fast corners. In the middle of the circuit, I’d have something like the hotel section from Yas Marina, going with something that's quite compact and it would bring the drivers closer together.

“The final sector would be something quite simple, with a really nice overtaking opportunity. I’d probably go with just a hairpin, something quite simple but good for overtaking.”

WHAT TYRES WOULD YOU PICK?

"Hard tyres because from what I've said so far, the track seems quite abrasive.”

WHICH CELEBRITIES WOULD YOU INVITE TO THE RACE?

“The biggest main ones I can find, people like The Rock or Vin Diesel. For the afterparty, I’d have Drake, I'm gonna be original.”

WHAT WOULD THE PODIUM AND TROPHIES LOOK LIKE?

“I would have the podium over the circuit, so the fans can come onto the track and it's nice for them. The trophies would be like they would be quite tall. They would be made of glass, and they would have like small diamonds in it. Not with actual gems in them but have the shape of a diamond carved into the trophies.”
