We hand the reigns over to Alex Peroni who crafts a brand-new addition to the FIA Formula 3 calendar. Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrity that he would invite, the Campos driver creates a new race weekend.

Peroni’s night race includes some stunning scenery and some iconic corners, as well as a pretty interesting choice of celebrity.

WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?

“Let’s say Australia. I’d have the race in Tasmania, near my house, so that I can have a home race. I would like this to be a Montreal spec track, so kind of a street circuit, kind of a normal track.

“There would be lots of water around the track. Similar to the Phillip Island circuit in Australia which is used for Moto GP, where you have the water backgrounds. There would also be the city landscape, which would be cool.”

HOW WOULD THE TRACK BE LAID OUT?

“I would start with Turns 1, 2 and 3 from Barcelona, which are good. Then, I would go straight into Casanova, Savelli, Arrabbiata uno e due from Mugello. After that, maybe a long straight like in Monza and Tabac and Swimming Pool from Monaco.

“Then, the chicane from Baku, as well as a couple of corners from Spa – Pouhon and of course Eau Rouge. I don’t know if that even a complete track, but let’s make it work.”

DAY OR NIGHT RACE?

“Night race. I have never experienced it before, so it could be bad, but ultimately, it’s something new for me. In general, it just looks more spectacular. For example, Singapore is always cool.”

WET OR DRY?

“If I could choose, I would say dry. I do actually enjoy driving in the wet more, but fast corners in the wet are never fun, so I think this track would be better suited to a dry race.”

WHICH CELEBRITY WOULD ATTEND THE EVENT?

“Dan Bilzerian. I just think he would be fun. He’d be good for the sponsors and the marketing for sure.”
