The 2025 FIA Formula 3 season came to an entertaining end in Monza with two thrilling races at the iconic Temple of Speed.

Roman Bilinski achieved his maiden victory in the Championship in the Sprint, while Tasanapol Inthraphuvsak came out on top in the Feature Race, helping Campos Racing seal the Teams’ title.

So as we continue to debrief Round 10, here are a few storylines we picked out from our trip to Italy.

CAMPOS WIN IN EMPHATIC STYLE

If there was one way to comprehensively seal your first ever Formula 3 Teams’ title, sealing a one-two finish in the Feature Race would certainly be high on the list.

Inthraphuvasak made the most daring of overtakes into Turn 1, a move that took him from third to first when he went around the outside of Brad Benavides and teammate Nikola Tsolov.

From then on, he managed to hold off the Bulgarian and they would go on to cross the line in first and second.

This saw Campos overhaul TRIDENT to give them a hardly fought Championship, while it meant all three of their drivers finished in the top seven of the Standings – Tsolov second, Mari Boya third and Inthraphuvsak in seventh.

Between the three, they won six races and achieved 14 podiums in total. It brings an excellent end to 2025 for the Spanish team, and they will be very confident of doing it again in 2026.

TRIDENT’s COSTLY FRIDAY

TRIDENT came to Monza with a lead of 19 points over Campos, and having taken Pole Position on in five of F3’s last six trips to Italy.

So they would have been confident of doing well this weekend, but Friday did not go their way, as Rafael Câmara, having been fastest in Group A Qualifying, lost his one – and only – lap for exceeding track limits.

This left him at the back of the field for both races, and his teammates Charlie Wurz and Noah Stromsted qualified eighth and 10th in Group B, leaving them all with an uphill task to score points.

Stromsted managed to rescue points in the Sprint by finishing eighth and then sixth in the Feature, but Wurz did not finish either race due to contact damage.

Câmara though was in excellent form, especially on Sunday when he came through the field to finish fifth, putting into question what he could have done had he started at or near the front.

In the end, their Friday results had left them with too tall a task to overcome and after a great season, they finish in a very respectable second place.

BENAVIDES AND AIX HEROICS

For the second time in three rounds, Brad Benavides took a Pole Position with a stunning final lap. But ahead of his last push attempt, he was eighth in Group B, 0.486s down on Tuukka Taponen’s leading 1:38.502.

However a tremendous lap, fuelled by the fastest second and third sectors, saw him complete a 1:38.120, which put him on top by over two-tenths.

Benavides improved by nearly nine-tenths to take pole for the second time this season, and while he could only convert that into a P4 in the Feature Race, it was still his best result of the year.

The American only narrowly missed out on a podium having been fighting for the race win, an unfortunate end to what was an impressive performance.

As for AIX, they go into the winter with plenty of positives, especially their pace over one lap, which in recent rounds has proven to be quite strong.
