Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak wants to use the 2025 campaign with Campos Racing to show what he can do, believing he and the team have what it takes to challenge for the Formula 3 title.

The Thai driver returns for a second season in F3 after a rookie year spent with AIX Racing in 2024 where he achieved one podium in the Budapest Sprint Race and finished 24th in the Standings.

He will now race for the Spanish outfit in 2025, going back to the team where he raced in the 2023 and the 19-year-old is pleased to be back in a familiar environment.

“It was a tough season last year but I think we definitely learned a lot throughout the season,” said Inthraphuvasak. “I think the improvements throughout the season were really good and as a team I think that it was a really positive and good finish to the season.

“I can build the momentum into the next one, obviously switching to Campos now. I've worked with the team in the past in Eurocup-3, so I know how the team and the people in the team work pretty well.

“So, I think that will help quite a lot with kind of gelling into the team, especially when there is a new car this year and we have to work pretty hard to maximise all the options possible.

“Also, I have the same engineer from the year I was in with Campos. I think the teamwork would be for sure there, and I'm really looking forward to it.”

What will also help him this year is that he will be more comfortable with the Championship, particularly the tracks that he had not been to previously and the race weekends.

While he accepts the new Formula 3 car will be a factor to overcome, returning to Campos should make adapting easier, especially off the back of a positive four days of post-season testing.

“I think post-season testing went pretty well,” continued Inthraphuvasak. “I think we showed good pace and I think we were consistently in the top ten, so that was a positive.

“Working with the team very well, back with my old engineer who I get along with super well, so that has been good. Obviously, I’ve been going to the factory quite a lot, getting to know my teammates as well, but I've races them in the past, so I know them quite well.

“I think the next few weeks are very important and I think the key is who's going to be fast and who's not because I think we have only three days with the new car before the first round.

“So, preparation is going to be one of the most important things. I've been trying to do as much as I can with Campos. I think I'll be in the factory pretty much all the time until the start of the season. Also, we have preseason testing, so I’ll be doing the sim, physical training and everything as much as possible basically to get as prepared for the season as possible.”

All this work will be with one goal in mind with Inthraphuvasak confident that he and Campos are capable of fighting for the Championship this year.

“Obviously, the goal if possible is to go for the Championship, I think it's very possible,” he added. “Last year the performance side of things wasn't ideal, but I think there were several factors that kind of played a part into that.

“But I think we ended the season very well even with those factors. I'm confident with the team I have around me, I'm just looking forward to kind of showing everyone what we're capable of.”
