The FIA Formula 3 promoters confirm that Tereza Babickova will not take part in this week’s all-women Formula 3 test at Magny-Cours, France, due to an injury. The Czech driver was scheduled to get a first taste of the F3 car on Saturday 17th of September, alongside fellow W Series racer Chloe Chambers.

Nerea Marti has been selected to replace Babickova for the one-day test. The Spanish driver, who also competes in W Series, had the opportunity to test the F3 car at Magny-Cours last November, where she showed great potential. She will be at the wheel of the car this Saturday.

Marti said: “First of all, I hope Tereza has a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing her back on track as soon as possible.

“I'm super excited to be taking part to this week’s Formula 3 tests. I was offered the same opportunity last year, and it was a really positive day during which I learned a lot. It will be really good to see my progression from last year and of course gain more experience with the F3 car.

“I really appreciate this great opportunity, and I want to thank Bruno Michel and his team. I'm ready for it and I'm going to give my all again!”
