The competitive action may be done for 2025 but that does not mean the work is finished, with the first of three post-season tests set to get underway this week in Jerez.
The Spanish venue is set to host two days of post-season running, giving the teams a chance to start their preparations for 2026.
So, before we get going in Jerez, here is everything you need to know…
The test will run from October 7-8, with the morning sessions on both days going for three hours, from 09:00 (GMT +2) local time to 12:00.
The afternoon session on the opening day will run from 14:00 to 17:00 after a two-hour break, but on Day 2, the second segment will start and end an hour earlier, going from 13:00 to 16:00 local time.
There are 17 drivers taking part in the post-season Jerez test that have raced in the Championship previously, with 13 rookies set to get their first run out in Formula 3 machinery.
Noah Stromsted, who finished sixth in the Drivers' Championship, is the highest returning driver from the 2025 Standings taking part in the test.
18 different countries will be represented in this test, with AIX Racing’s Yevan David set to be the first Sri Lankan driver to race in Formula 3 next season.
At last year’s post-season test in Jerez, Nikola Tsolov set the fastest of a 1:29.758 for Campos Racing.
Both test days will be available to follow via live timing on the FIA Formula 3 website.
