Matías Zagazeta

BIOGRAPHY

Peruvian driver Matías Zagazeta began his karting career in his home country, taking multiple national titles before moving into international competition and in 2020, single seater racing. He raced in British F4 with Carlin that year, achieving a 12th place finish before returning to the series the following year, finishing runner up in the Drivers’ Championship.

Zagazeta moved to Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine in 2022 and followed it up once again with a second campaign. In 2024, he moves up to FIA Formula 3 with Jenzer Motorsport after completing all three post-season tests with the Swiss team.
