David Beckmann

David Beckmann was another in Formula 3 whose helmet helped him to stand out from the crowd, but like his Trident teammate, Lirim Zendeli, it was his on-track performances that did the talking.

The German racer was expected to challenge for the title in the 2019 campaign, but struggled to find his rhythm with ART Grand Prix. A switch to more familiar surroundings at Trident - who he’d previously driven for in GP3 - sparked a change of fortunes as he won twice and took six podiums in 2020.

Stepping up with Charouz, Beckmann had to work hard to earn his chance in F2 and wants to ensure he makes the most out of it.
